Started back to work today after 8 weeks at home with my little man. Being away from him is a whole other post but what surprised me most is how much I missed nursing him. Being attached to a pump 3 x today felt so impersonal after all of the wonderful bonding time I've had with him. Breastfeeding is hard and most days I felt like a milk cow while on maternity. Being away from him today and pumping has made me appreciate and realize just how special our feeding times are. Cherish those moments, ladies!
