2nd baby shower??

Question

I've heard a lot of talk around baby showers and how it's not polite to have second baby showers ?? Just curious about thoughts on this. I'm having my second girl but due in a different season than my eldest so I actually do need stuff! Clothes, little diapers. But I don't want people to judge me🙈 plus baby showers are way fun!

I've had some friends do a "sprinkle shower". You just register for what you need since you already have some things already. It's normally alittle smaller and mostly just family and closest friends. I thinks it's a cute idea. You can find a lot on Pinterest like this cute invitation!

I agree with the sprinkle for just necessities. 
My kids are 10-girl, 6-boy, and now another girl. So there's a huge gap from one to the other of my babies especially the girls. So I literally have nothing I saved other than their first outfits and a couple of things here and there. 
So my work is throwing me an office one and my friends are throwing me one for friends and family. 
I do,however, have some things given to me by a friend who recently had a baby. Like a bassinet, rocker, crib etc...

I had a second one because my boys were 10 years apart and I had literally nothing! Not to mention 10 years EVERYTHING CHANGED SO MUCH!! lol but a lot of people have a sprinkle shower, less pressure of all the big stuff that you would normally get and more of the filler stuff, clothes diapers.. but I stick up for the next season from clearance racks at my fav stores, esp. Kohl's! They always have great stuff, and I've been stocking up diapers for a little while from target and cvs always has good deals..

Im having a really big babyshower but I plan to get pregnant soon after my first and when I do it will be a baby sprinkle like prevously mentioned every baby is a celebration and should be celebrated!

Mine was a little different circumstances , but my girls were 3 years apart and I had a second one. However my first daughter was with a previous relationship and when I moved out I pretty much left everything there. So when me and my now husband had our daughter (my second his first) we had a baby shower. Since it was his family's first grand baby they wanted to throw me one. I am on my third. However it's a boy and I gave or sold all my baby stuff since my youngest is almost 6 now so we are starting over! I say go for it for the second shower I don't Personally see anything wrong with it and think each baby should be celebrated!
