can't get pregnant

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 9 months now and we haven't been able to get pregnant. It's starting to get very frustrating. Every time my period starts it makes me angry!! Does anybody have any tips, tricks, anything??? I'm desperate!! At what point do I need to go see my OB/GYN DOCTOR??
