birth control?

I'm considering birth Control, not only so I don't get pregnant, but to help my cramps cause I get them everyday if my period except for two days, and they're super bad, and recommendations on some? That are not the "pill"?

I'm also really scared to try birth control cause of all the things I heard it can do to your body, am I just over thinking or do I need to be scared a wary of what I use?

All women have different reactions but if you want something that'll help with your period cramps, you'll need a hormonal method. Some women experience some minor side effects but most women can use hormonal BC no problem. The likelihood of having serious problems is pretty low, it doesn't mess with your future fertility at all like some people wrongly believe, and if it doesn't work out you can always stop taking it!

Being physically active helps (working out/running) a heating pad helps, my Doctor gives me Ibuprofen 800mg because I used to have horrible cramps and just like you I was and still am afraid of taking BC so hopefully that helps you.
