Being induced?

Ok I'm a FTM! I have been put on insulin and glyburide pills. Is it normal for the doctor to induce early because of being on those two medicines?

I haven't gotten my results back from the gestational diabetes test yet, but I'm really hoping I passed! We are really counting on baby Wilson to stay in until after we move (sometime in February) and we're due March 19th. Plus, I don't want an induced labor again, it was not pleasant! I want to go naturally, but since I have a midwife she may strip my membranes rather than jump straight to the pitocin and foli catheter

It's rare diabetics go to 40 weeks. So if you failed the glucose test and they have suspicions of you being diabetic before hand they will for sure encourage induction.
