Tongue sores during pregnancy?

I have a sore on the back of my tongue way back and it hurts when I eat. I went to the dentist and they told me I had gingivitis. I have been taking more care of my oral hygiene. But what can I take for this? Anyone else have this too during pregnancy?

You could try swishing with warm salt water. But the best thing to do is make uour flossing! If you floss everyday you'll be better in 7-10 days while those gums heal

Cut a garlic clove in half put it in your mouth for at least 5 minutes. It's a natural anti-inflammatory and antibiotic. Make sure to rinse out your mouth with water afterwards to protect your enamel, like you would if you're drinking lemon water.
