How far along were you at your baby shower?

Ftm here and am projected to be 37 weeks at my baby shower. Did anyone else have their baby shower this late in their pregnancy? I have this odd fear of slightly peeing myself because I have read that late in your pregnancy you somewhat lose control of your bladder.

I was gonna have mine at 36 weeks but I think that's too late. This is my second, but our only girl (I have a step son and a son)... and we still need basic stuff like a crib mattress, bassinet, diapers... etc. My son came at 39 weeks and I'm a planner and we're moving around that time as well.. so it really would create too much stress for me. We're doing it around 33 weeks.. that way I can at least have the essentials... doing it too late might cause you more stress... I was cleaning and washing clothes every day the last weeks of pregnancy.. but every woman is different

I had mine at 37 weeks as well. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able tonattenmy own shower but not only did I make it I delivered past my due date. I tried everything in the world to convince my mom not to have in that late though.

I was around 32 weeks and baby didn't come until 42. My family is doing a little sprinkle this time and I'll be exactly 37 weeks. If you have the baby early it can always become a sip n see! My aunt delivered at 32 weeks and her shower was supposed to be 8 days after she gave birth! We were able to have her shower still on that date to collect her gifts and celebrate and she we had a sip n see shortly after just for fun.

I'll be having mine exactly one month before I am due I'm scared that it's too late but that's the only day we could have it so we will see how it goes.

I was 34 or 35 at my first and baby came a week later. Had him early at 36 weeks. 
This time around due to me living out of town, I'll be 32 weeks. I figure spring break will be an easy time for my family to travel.

I am having mine at 33 and 34 weeks. I didn't want anything past 35 weeks in case the baby came early. Also i want to use the time from 35 to 40 weeks (or whenever baby comes) to finish purchasing anything I need but didn't get at the showers.

I was about 30 weeks, but only bc we lived out of town from all our family and that was the only time we'd be home before the baby was born. I loved having it early because that gave us plenty of time to get anything else we needed, even if she came early. If I were having another shower this time around, I'd want it around 34 or 35 weeks at the latest. My SIL had her shower at 38 weeks and had her baby two days later!
