If you're downstairs majority of the time I'd say downstairs cause I know if it were me I'd be mad if I got back downstairs and forgot something and had to go back up and get it 😂

Where is your room? I would want to put it as close as I can to my bedroom. Any maybe you can use the bedroom down stairs as a toy / play room. :)

First six months I'd say your room and then move to baby's own room. Just make sure you have a monitor that works all over the house. If you do put baby in your room you can still set up another room as the nursery and just put the crib and changing table in your room since that's pretty much all you need for now.

On the same floor with the parents :) that's what we did. We have a small nursery for our girl on the first floor where our bedroom is too and when she gets older she will get her own bigger room upstairs.

Whichever room upstairs that is closest to you or works best for a nursery and future child's room. You can set a monitor up there for when they are sleeping in the crib, but for the first few months you can have a pack n play or bassinet in your room for them to sleep in if you don't plan on putting them in the nursery first. That's what we did and our pack n play has a napper and changing table so there will be options if we are on a different floor to make it easier.

We had the baby sleep in our room at first and then moved him to his own room. Maybe you can set up a small area with a basinet or something in your room till he's older and then set up the actual nursery downstairs. It's nice to have them in a quiet room so they sleep better and as long as you have a monitor it should be fine that they're on a different floor

Depends where your room is. Personally I'd rather the babies room by mine. Also if none of them are near our room personally I'd say back of house as my next choice. I'd rather my baby as far away from the front door as possible.
