At-home Births 👶🏼💕💕

Anyone done an at-home birth??? My husband and I are really looking into it more and more, we love the idea of being somewhere comfortable and LOVE the idea of just relaxing in our own home with baby right after the birth ❤️ But I have a toooonnn of questions! Do you have the option of pain control during labor? What was the whole experience like? What measures are taken in case something goes wrong? What are pros/cons and risks?

Basically any advice you have, I would love to hear 😊 We really would love for my husband to be the one to "birth" (catch lol) little one when he/she is born...is that something a midwife will allow?? My husband wants to but is also understandably nervous and wants to have the midwife very close by.
