cancelled ivf
Today I went in for my day 6 ultrasound. I only have 2 follicles measuring at 13 on the right with 2 small ones that he didn't measure. The past two ultrasounds they cannot find my left ovary. He tried really hard to find it and thinks he saw maybe a follicle but it's so hard to reach they didn't measure it either. They discussed with me cancelling the cycle and saving my medicine. Also the possibility of turning it into an <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>. I'll get a phone call today from my doctor with what they decide.
I am just so devastated. I don't understand how I did not respond to the stims, I am only 28 years old. This is my first <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> cycle and she believed I would respond fine to the stims because my numbers seemed great. I knew endometriosis could effect the quality of eggs but can it also effect the quantity?! I went through all the things I was nervous about entering <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> but a cancelled cycle for low number of eggs was never on my radar. I responded more to letrozole when we were doing IUIs! Does anyone have experience with this happening before??
