military paternity leave change?
So this was kind of random but I saw someone post elsewhere in glow that her husband is getting 21 days paternity leave from the military. She noted that it was a recent change with the new year as it used to be just ten days.
Has anyone heard this and can confirm or deny? I plan to have my husband ask around because we were only expecting ten days and I'm due in less than two weeks.
*update. It looks like it is part of the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act but it might be that the branches have not yet implemented the changes. It seemed like there might be some exceptions or caveats as well. Still figuring it out.
