I'm 22w2d so maybe I shouldn't be worried yet, but no one has offered to throw me a baby shower. My 2 sisters live in another state 5-9 hours away and my mom didn't even come for my wedding shower so she's out of the equation. So that would mean my in-laws and/or friends. My friends all chipped in for my wedding shower which was 4 years ago and I don't think they want to pay for a baby shower. I threw a wedding shower a year ago for my sister-in-law who is actually the devil reincarnated (such a mean spirited person) so she's not really the type of person to throw me a shower, plus she refuses to acknowledge my pregnancy since she had cervical cancer 12 years ago. I guess my question is it a faux pas to throw your own? I really don't want to. Or maybe I'll just create a registry and share it with those who ask?  I know there's still time, but no one has said anything yet about me having a shower.
