how am i only 5 weeks?

Question

I had my first ultra sound yesterday.
I got my first positive pregnancy test on december 29 and it was a dark definte positive.
When i checked with the nurse 2 days later she gave me the due date of September 7 2017 making me 8 weeks pregnant today.
But when we went to do an ultrasound we can only see the sac and its only measuring 5 weeks. 
I have been having brown spotting
Could i be shrinking?
My HCG is 6000

With my baby girl who is almost a year now I was suppose to be 9 weeks and on the ultrasound i was 6 weeks. She turned out healthy!

This also happened to me and I sure hope it's not your case but I miscarried. Sending positive prayers your way. Keep us posted.

It's not January 29th yet. When did you get the positive pregnancy results and when was the first day of your last period?

I had this and i hope different for you but mine ended as a missed miscarriage x
