So I just made my first appointment and the doctor won't see me until February 28th which will put me at 12 weeks ! Don't you think they'd want to see me do labs and an ultrasound to clarify I am having a viable pregnancy ? I've had two other kids before and they have never made me wait like this .. I asked the receptionist if I'll be getting an ultrasound and she said no you don't get any until you are 20 weeks unless they think something is wrong ... like well how can they know if anything is wrong if I don't even get a first ultrasound ! I'm curious if I should go to a free clinic where I live that does ultrasounds at 9 weeks just to see if there is a heart beat . I'd hate to go this whole time and god forbid something happen and I have a missed miscarriage and not know until 12 weeks !
