6 wks & no heart beat?

So i went to get my first ultra sound on monday and my gyno said everything seemed great but didn't find a heart beat?? he told me he wanted to see me again in 2 weeks. but should i be worried?? this is my first pregnancy so i'm very new to this /: i was 6wks1d when i went.

It's still really early, my OB wouldn't even attempt to find a heart beat until 10 weeks.

6 weeks is very early to see a heartbeat, even on a transvaginal ultrasound. At that point you sometimes still only see an empty sac! Baby just needs to grow a bit more before it'll be visible :)

Same thing happened to me around the same time. Just saw an empty sac. Came back two weeks later and we saw the yolk sac and baby forming. Keep positive and good luck!

I had my first appointment at 7 weeks 6 days and we hardly even heard the heartbeat 😊 don't stress yourself out, especially in the early weeks

This is why many Dr's won't do a scan until 9 weeks or later. There really isn't a heart yet... Be patient! 💜

Same thing happened to me....girl I was terrified!  They only saw the sac - no baby , no heartbeat.  Next two weeks the baby was there and the heartbeat was 180.  I was not as far along as my doctor had calculated.  I'm 16 weeks along now and she is doing fine.

I was 6 weeks exactly  when i had my last ultrasound. We saw yolk sac and fetal pole but baby was to small for a heartbeat. I go back monday at 7w4d+

This happened to me last week , I was 6 weeks 4 days and the doctor said she couldn't see the heart beat , I was nervous as hell ... I came in a week later and I saw the babies heart beating I was 7 weeks 1 day and before the doctor wasn't acting like anything was wrong she said everything looked great ! Don't be nervous

I got a transvaginal ultrasound today at 6w2d and was able to see the heart flickering. What kind if ultrasound did u get belly ir transvaginal
