Tearing?

Due 1/29/17 and I'm curious what are the chances of me tearing? I know we are all different.

I'm not sure of the chances but my daughter was 8lbs 0.9oz. My first son was 8lbs 2.5oz. And my second son born at 37 weeks 4 days was 8lbs 6.4oz. I did NOT tear with ANY of them.

My baby was small at around 6.5lbs and I had a second degree tear.  I know my obgyn was massaging down there because I could see it and feel it but I still tore.  I don't know if it had to do with having a really fast labor and being a FTM but it wasn't so bad.  For me,  my contractions we worse than my tear healing

My son was 9.3 lbs with a head in the 99th percentile. I am just thankful I only had a 2nd degree tear :p

I was told 80-90% of all women tear. I didn't though! My doctor massaged my cervix the entire time to try to prevent it. Thankfully it worked. Hopefully I get lucky with the next one ;)

My son was only 7 pounds but he shot out and tore both of my labias and my perennial. It all depends most drs will cut you to make sure you don't tear and then it's just a clean cut but try perennial massages and that might help

My baby girl was born Monday January 23, 2017 at 10:17 P. M.
She was 9.6 lbs and 20.5 inches long. She teared me as you may imagine. Every time i use the bathroom i have to spray water simultaneously as I am peeing or it will burn big time. Today it's been four day since and I kind of feel like I am healing. I suggest you to don't stress about it because everyone is different. Everyone heals different. Also everyone has different pain tolerances. As soon as you see your baby you'll know it's worth it

Daughter was 5lb 8oz and only had first degree tear in the most weird place on earth. Only took two stitches. 12 days PP.

Also, I birthed on my hands and knees which I think helped me not tear this time, versus lying on my back pulling my legs back with my first two.

I was cut with first child but this time I didn't tear or get cut. According to my husband my widwife was trying to stretch me so I didn't tear and it was freaky looking ha

My son's head is in the 99th percentile and I had 4 tears. I think she said only 1 was 2nd degree with the rest being first. I'm sore. The hemorroids are bad, but she did an awesome job of with my stitches.
