Ideas?

Hey ladies. Soooo my 2 week old son seems to need to be sucking on my nipple in order to fall asleep. I've tried giving him a soother but he usually spits it out and cries until I put him to my breast.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get him to sleep without it or will this possibly pass...? 🤔

Sounds like Cluster feeding or comfort feeding

Same here. Finally figured out to put her next to me in bed,(I know I should co sleep but whatever) anyhow I put her next to me on a pillow to prop her up and I lay next to her with one of my breasts in her mouth. She will suck then sooner or later pop it out and she is out. I then put her in the crib and she's out for the rest of the time until her next feeding.

My daughter is doing the same thing. She's a week old today. Will not take a pacifier and gets hysterical until I feed her. Some nights I just get about 15 mins in between feedings and she always falls asleep immediately but wakes up as soon as I lay her down. I have resorted to letting her sleep on my chest so I can get some sleep and that usually keeps her happy for a few hours. Also swaddled her as tight as I could last night and she slept ok.

Ideas?
