anyone else's parents?

My parents' answer to everything is "you should be focusing on school." I told my dad my friend invited me to her wedding and he said "you shouldn't be worrying about that." Or if I ask my mom what I should do about liking a boy she says "you should be focusing on school don't let this distract you." I mean...I've had relationships before (which they looked down on) yet still passed all classes and graduated with an AA a quarter early....... I don't even have friends right now or a social life and I'm "seeing" someone right now but afraid to tell them like I need their "pernission" or approval. But I'm almost 21???? It's just because I'm relying on my dad's benefits from the military and he pays my phone bill maybe. Idk. They're so controlling. Im afraid to enjoy things
