How many medicated cycles did it take to conceive?

Hey y'all! I'm currently on my 7th cycle of taking fertility meds (3 cycles on Clomid & 4 cycles on Femara). None of which I've ovulated on. How many cycles did it take for you to conceive while on Femara/Clomid? I just feel so devastated that I haven't even ovulated once.

PS. I have PCOS and have to take Provera to start a cycle each month. I also take 1700 mg of Metformin daily

Hi Heather! Clomid didn't work for me at first, then it started making me ovulate but gave me bad side effects so was switched to Femara. Also didn't get me pregnant so am on shots now instead. Those are working really well, high ovulation levels 😃 I have PCOS too and had to do the Provera after CD85.

I did 3 rounds of clomid with no luck. then I did a total of 3 rounds of follistim. the first I over stimulated and the cycle had to be cancelled. the 2nd and 3rd ended in miscarriage. then I did 2 rounds of gonal f, the first ended in miscarriage at 9 weeks and now I'm pregnant with twins from the last cycle of gonal f.
