Can your dog tell you're going into labor?

My baby was due on Sunday, the 22nd. And every night since then my husband's dog has been acting a little funny towards me. She doesn't leave me alone, follows me into the bathroom and leaves when I leave, she sleeps by my bedside, and has been staring at me with full attention. This is the first time she's acted this way. She's definitely more my hubby's dog than mine, so I'm just wondering if she's sensing something that I'm not haha. What do you ladies think? Anyone experience anything similar?

She senses change. My dog doesn't leave my side either and he is more of my husband's dog too.  He follows me everywhere.  Also same due date btw. Hope you have the baby soon

All throughout my pregnancy my dog was more clingy and the further along I got, the more neurotic he became. The last week he was incredibly anxious and we were so worried how he was going to be with baby. As soon as we brought her home, he calmed down completely and now doesn't leave her side. I think they know for sure

When I was in labor I walked all around my house for a couple hours one of my dogs was glued to me. He walked right beside me. When I stopped walking he would nudge and lick my hand. It was neat watching him he is usually very hyper and to see how calm and  comforting he was being was amazing

I think dogs can sense a lot of things we can't. Hell, there are dogs that know when someone's about to have a seizure, syncopal episode, etc.
