How long did it take for the pain to subside after vaginal birth?

This is gonna be a silly question that I pretty much know the answer to.. but how long until my vagina will stop hurting?!
It's not too bad just sitting or even walking. Bending is slightly irritating. But peeing is AWFUL ☹ I only got "one" stitch (I think it was actually 3..) and it stings badly every time I pee. And it stings on the sides where I don't even think there are stitches. It stings badly on the very top near the clit too, anyone else?
I use the peri bottle every time to rinse and just blot to dry. Finally had my first pp poop yesterday 4 days later.. can't get enough of those ice packs. But when can I hope for the stinging and pain to go away? 😣

Little tip for peeing. Make sure you drink a lot of water (decrease the ammonia in your pee). This will lesson the burning feeling when you pee 😊

Epsom salt baths seriously speeded up my recovery. If your dr says baths are ok I highly recommend it. I instantly felt better and the relief lasted a few hours after the bath.

When peeing use a perineal bottle (or however its spelled) with warm water and gently squirt your girly areas makes it much less painful to potty, use tucks pads layered in your undies on top of your pad with numbing spray, and if you can't sit in a bath tub for an Epsom salt bath, then get in a hot shower and lean over the side of tub if need be to let water run over you. I had a really hard delivery with 4th degree tearing and I could sit on anything without using a donut for weeks and walking to the bathroom made me break down and cry it hurt so bad, just make sure you get lots of rest too.

And for the stinging, it's weird but it works - lean forward when you go to the bathroom, like you are going to touch the floor. I had horrible stinging every time and someone suggested that and it worked!

The hospital told me that ice packs can delay healing and I should only use them for 24hrs and no numbing spray. I had a second degree tear and followed this advice. I felt completely healed within 10days

I was still in pain for 2 weeks, and i realised that i was too semdatove down there for the witch hazle pads and that numbing spray. When i stopp1ed using those? 2 days later i was absolutly fine
