Pain relievers ?

The other day I woke up with this really bad pain on my gums, so bad that the whole right side of my face hurts so I've been gurgling salt water to clean it out and I can hardly chew food. Anyways I was trying to not take pain medicine but it just hurts so bad and I can't get ahold of my midwife until Monday or a dentist until Monday so I'm like paranoid about taking anything but desperate. I'm 39 weeks 6 days what am i able to take it anything?
