I do a "power pump" routine. After 3 of the daytime feeds for my LO, I pump. The pump routine is pump for 20 mins, rest for 10 mins, pump for 10 mins, rest for 10 mins, pump for 10 mins. It's jumped my production and I've gone from getting 2.5 oz to 5 oz in just 3 days of the routine! Hope this helps!

If you're not frequently pumping or feeding, your supply will only lessen. You have to pump or feed every 2hrs or so. It's supply and demand. The more often you pump or nurse, the more milk your body will supply. You can't go by the fullness of your boobs bc that's not an indication of how much milk you have or how much you're building up in one day. My boobs are almost always soft and never full but I make a good amount of milk.

I exclusively pump because my son won't latch.  I pump every 2-3 hours around the clock; yes, even at night.  If baby feeds,  I pump.  I eat oatmeal every day.  I also drink mother's milk tea and eat lactation cookies.  Like a PP,  my breasts don't get hard and I produce a good amount of milk.  My breasts did get engorged in the beginning when I did not know to manually express after pumping to completely empty them out.  When I was trying to increase my supply,  I spent 1 hour every day to power pump for a week.
