I kiss my son on his cheeks/forehead. I feel the lips are very intimate that I only share with my husband! Also his lips are innocent, pure, & clean. Mommys lips aren't 🤐

I kiss my baby on both his face and lips and his belly and hands. Its not the same as kissing my husband. Its two totally different feelings.

I kiss her feet, hands, nose, cheeks, etc. but not her mouth.  Not because my mouth is only meant to kiss my fiancé's mouth but because I really don't want to introduce more germs than I have to to her.  Once she is a little older and built up more of an immune system, I will kiss her mouth.  We did when we were younger with my parents so I don't see a problem with it

Both! I love him so much so I can't resist! But in no way do I feel romantic about it or anything. Totally different than when I kiss my husband.

I don't kiss her lips because my immune system is so much stronger than hers. She caught viral meningitis when she was 2 weeks old so being very cautious is important to me. You'll catch me taking her temp every time she is fussy, but I ALWAYS know when something isn't right.

Careful with kissing baby on the lips! I'm a dentist, and the research shows that nobody is born with the bacteria in their mouth that causes cavities, it only populates the mouth after being introduced by outside sources. This is mainly caregivers when they are young via kissing, or sharing utensils/drinks/food/etc. Obviously it's inevitable at some point, but the longer you can avoid introducing that bacteria into your baby's mouth, the less the risk of tooth decay, etc. Just an FYI that I remember being surprised by when we learned it in school! 😊

The only place I don't kiss my baby is her mouth, I have no judgement for anyone who does it but it just seems weird to me to kiss anyone but your significant other on the mouth.
