Evening primrose oil?

My midwife said to take these at 37 weeks to start softening the cervix has anyone tried them before or plan to?

Does anyone know if it just helps the labor process or does it also help with things like tearing or recovery? FTM just learning about this:)

I started taking two a day at 35 weeks. I only take them orally 😄

Yes I took them before I was pregnant for menstral cramps, it works I already started taking it again I'm 35 weeks!

Hi ya I use borage oil vaginally as its better as it helps stops you tearing during birth and helps quicker birth. This is 8th baby I've always used Epo but found borage oil less messy at night and softer inside :)

I am going to try it! I didn't realize that moms on here are using vaginally, I thought just taking orally was what I was to do. Thoughts?

I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and bought some today but not going to use until later, may as well try! Xx
