one test positive, one negative?!?!

Ok so this morning I took a One Step pregnancy test strip and it showed two lines almost right away. Then I took a digital a few hours later and it said not pregnant. I am so confused and heartbroken. We have been TTC for 2 years. Advice?!

First, the test strip one looks like it has a bad dye run- BUT that definitely still looks positive. I would retest with FMU tomorrow and look for a cleaner result. Second, this digitals take more hcg and won't always show up positive when strip tests do. Also you said you took it a few hours later which I'm assuming means you didn't use FMU? You need to use FMU only this early on. So I'd say that chances are you are definitely pregnant, but retest with pink dye and FMU tomorrow to be sure! Good luck!

Digital require a lot more hcg don't lose hope I say retest in a few days with a digital and it should tell you :)

Clearblue digitals need a level of 50hcg to be positive. It's too early for it to be positive is all :) clearblue didn't work for me at first either, but first response gold digital worked cuz it's more sensitive

Test again in a day or two , Levels may not be high enough for a digital yet ! Baby dust to you
