out of infant car seat?

Question

When are you guys moving your little ones out of the infant car seat into the "real" one? I ready something about there head being an inch from the top, which our little ones not there yet but her feet are at the edge in the bottom but I don't think that matters.

I just switched my daughter about a week ago. I wanted to wait until she was sitting up all by herself so I can sit her in carts and stuff at the store. 😂

The carrier I have is 30 lbs and 30 inches is the limit, I already have the one she needs next, it's just so much bigger than the carrier or it seems that way cause I haven't put her in it yet

We use the concord reverso plus, and I love it. We didn't use it when he was a new born we used the one that came with the travel system. I think at around five months we moved to the concord one and it does up until 4years approx. I can't remember the weight but I'm sure it was around 4yrs.

We bought our daughter convertible carseat but due to cold weather we still use the infant carseat.. but it wont be much longer till we NEED to switch.. my daughter is already 31.5 inches long.

My son has been out of the infant car seat, I have a pretty big boy. We are using the Diono Rainier and love it
