HG - rant!!!
I've been off work with HG for the last 3 weeks now and finally over the last few days I have been feeling better
It was my sisters hen do on Saturday so I mustered up the energy to make an appearance. My husband was on call to pick me up when I needed him to and my mum and aunt were both with me
I did pay for it on Sunday but mainly just because I was so exhausted!
I was so impressed with myself for making it and was planning on taking a couple of days and then going back to work on Wednesday (I'm actually still signed off until 6th Feb)
Unfortunately photos got posted on Facebook
I then get a phone call from my manager today VERY unimpressed and talking about misconduct!!!!!!!!
I appreciate where he is coming from but am I seriously not allowed to go out for a couple of hours???? I feel so upset with the way it's being dealt with as they have been so supportive until now
I'm going to try and go back tomorrow for a couple of hours but I'm worried about what everyone is going to say. I'm only 10 weeks and haven't announced yet
FYI I'm in the U.K. and work in public sector
