Bad period like cramps...??

It's a few days after my fertile window and I am having horrible cramps. It feels like I actually have my period. I'm laying in bed bc I feel like shit. Ughh anyone have any idea what's up? Never had this happened before. Should I take some pamprin? Is okay to take it if I'm not menstruating?
