Tylenol??

I have the worlds worst headache. Like an 8. I am trying to avoid taking anything but it's to the point I'm vomiting from the pain. I know Tylenol is ok but the 500mg tablets haven't been doing anything all day. Think I can take the full dosage of 1000mg (2 tablets)?

I researched this and found that you are only suppose to 1200 MG total a week.

Yes, 1000mg is ok :) just don't exceed more than 3000mg in 24 hours. You could also take (1) 500mg Tylenol & (1) 25mg Benadryl together. It'll more than likely make you tired, but it's safe to take together & in pregnancy. I'm definitely not a doctor, but I am an ER nurse & have given that "cocktail" plenty of times. Also try massage, dark/quiet room, cool/warm compress to head (your preference), better pillows (just did this myself because of major head & neck pain that wasn't going away), & hydrate with lots & lots of water--till you feel like you're going to float away. I just saw my doctor last week and I had the beginning of a migraine starting. She said to take 1000 mg of Tylenol to help prevent it from coming on. She said is was perfectly safe. I think she said every 4-6 hours but no more than 3,000 mg a day.

Wow, I take up to 6 Tylenol at a time. That's how many it actually takes to help. 
Something I'd wrong with me lol cause I do that like 3 times a day.
