So, I went in last Thursday for my first ultrasound.. I should have been about 6w4d pregnant at that time. They took a transvaginal ultrasound and all they could find was an empty gestational sac with some "debris". They moved us into another room and the doctor told us it is most likely a blighted ovum- the baby never formed due to likely chromosomal defects. They're doing a follow up ultrasound this Friday and then if it is what they're expecting, I have to choose between waiting to miscarry naturally, having a D&C, or doing the misoprostil medication... I'm so nervous and sad. Anyone else go through something similar?
