is it just me or what ?

Most of the people I know that has been induced end up in a csection , just like me and I'm really curious as to why that's is . Literally everyone on the delivery floor with me were having csection it was like maybe 3 ladies . It just amazes me I told them
No csection and that's what I had now I'm taking care of a newborn and kinda crippled isn't that fun ?

i'm convinced it's the easy-way-out for doctors. they can quickly put an end to you being in labor for hours upon hours. though i went into labor naturally, my doctor waited until i was 9.5 centimeters dilated (she had no faith in me delivering vaginally from the beginning. i could just sense it) to tell me i HAD to have an emergency c section and we had no more time to wait... even after i repeatedly told her no. soon i was being wheeled out of the room completely against my will. she just kept saying, "it's for the baby. you have to do it for the baby." as if after 15 hours of labor we didn't have a few more minutes to spare so i could begin pushing. 🙄

i honestly think doctors are forcing c sections more among patients because they get paid more to perform a csection compared to delivering a baby vaginally. i overhead a doctor on the floor, after my c section say he was about to go in for his 6th one for the night. like huh? that just doesn't sound okay. i want a mid wife for my next pregnancy.

I had an induction that ended up in a c section but it had gone very quickly and smoothly until pushing, at which point my son's heart rate kept plummeting. He was tangled in his cord and I believe c section was totally necessary and not pushed by doctors or related to induction.

I had an induction that lead to csection this time but it wasn't the inductions fault. I hadn't dropped and the baby was tied up like in a net up against my ribs so the induction caused stress by cutting off her blood supply when the cords where squeezed while the m3dicine was trying to get her down and she couldn't come down. Even if I had not gotten the the induction she wouldn't have dropped because she was stuck and I would have ended up with a csection or a still born.

My last induction with my older child did not result in a csection.

Think about it like this usually there is a reason for an induction. I'm against getting them if it's just a late baby. And, anytime there is a legit reason for an induction the chances of baby also experiencing stress are also high & the chances of a csection go up.

After having a neighbor who had a stillborn birth I would choose an induction and csection any day if it were deemed necessary not just because.

It's easier for doctors, pitocin can cause babies to become distressed leading to emergency c sections, epidurals can slow labor leading to the need for pitocin or a slew of other things. I was induced at midnight last Wednesday using cervidil followed by cytotec and ended up having an emergency c-section early Friday morning. It was exactly what I didn't want, but it turns out I ever would have been able to deliver vaginally due to multiple things, so I don't really blame the induction or my doc. He tried his best to help me have the labor/delivery I wanted.

I was induced with my first baby and it ended up in a c section. (The whole thing was traumatic, baby's heart rated also dropped). This time they told me I needed to be induced and I just elected for the csection instead cause even a nurse talked to me about how all the induction drugs effect your baby and the progress of your delivery.

I think a lot of people get induced before the baby is low enough for a vaginal delivery. Unless there's a medical emergency, you shouldn't opt for an induction unless the baby is at least 0 station.

My daughter would have died if we hadn't had a c-section. I was not induced however.
