Who's Right about My Son's Hair?

MIL THINKS he's starting to get a bald spot bc I lay him on his head too much (he's 4months old) // I THINK it's bc his hair is going in 2 directions , I say this bc once coconut oil is applied to his hair & you combed it down it covers it

Most babies get bald spots on the back of the head from laying down. Totally normal!

Most kids get a bald spot and hair grows back in by like 7 or 8 months. Plus babies usually lose allbtheir newborn hair and get new hair so it coupd be either or it could be neither it wont be an actual balb spot that stays either way

Something about hormones around their 3rd and 4th month causes a lot of babies to temporarily lose a lot of their hair. It happened to my son too and it all grew back.

I'm not sure but my son did lose all his hair and grew new hair around 4 months, but he's still a baby and doesn't have all the hair if u want to try to lay him on his tummy more then u could or just do what you think
