gender reveal party yay or nay ?!?

My friends whant to throw me a gender reveal shower, but I'm having second thoughts because it can be hard for people to choose the right gift. What are some of your opinions?

Gifts aren't really brought to a gender reveal party, I put a little thing in my invites that if you brought a pack of diapers you would be entered into a drawing for a prize/gift. We got a decent amount of diapers. And it helps for when people WANT to bring something but aren't sure what to bring!
