Does anyone else ever get super weird dysphoria from having longer hair than you'd like? I'm closeted and it would be unsafe for me to cut my hair any shorter than it currently is while I'm still dependent on my parents (the first time I did it my mom yelled at me and said it made me look like a boy (that's the goal mother) and said that boys didn't like girls with short hair, which was before I even realized I was trans). But even though it's a safety issue I get super anxious any time I have to style my hair because it's not what I want and it makes me look like a girl and I hate it. Does that make any sense at all??
