Is there a way that you can block someone's number from texting you????

Anyone know if there's a way that I can block someone's number from texting me??

Go online to your cell phone account, there should be an option for it there.

If you have an iPhone - click into a message they've sent you. Up the top on the right next to their name it will say "details" - click on that. Their name will be at the top again with a little phone symbol next to it and also an i in a circle like for information. Click on that. Then scroll down to the bottom and "block this caller" will be an option.

This will block all their texts and calls, however if they ring you and leave a voice message you'll get a notification (but the phone won't actually ring). They also don't know you've blocked them.

For Samsung: go to your messages, go to more (top right corner), go to setting, and click spam filter. "Manage span numbers" should give you the option to add the number or even a contact.
