TTC after miscarriage/ D&C

My husband and I recently had a miscarriage at 10 weeks. On January 6th I had a D&C because my body hadn't realized I lost the baby and emotionally couldn't wait to naturally miscarry. We had no trouble getting pregnant that first time so I'm hopeful next time will be easy too. And hopeful for a healthy pregnancy and baby. I'm turning 33 in a couple months so I'm anxious for that first period as my dr said it should come 4-6 weeks. I only bleed for a few days after my surgery. However, emotionally I'm not doing the best. I think about our angel everyday. What is everyone's experience with miscarriage and how did you cope? Did you have trouble conceiving after? Did it take long for your period to return?
