Do you believe Christians follow what they Believe?

As a follower of Christ myself, I personally believe that if more "Christians" practiced what they preached this world would be a different place. 70% of Americans claim to be"Christians" if all 70% were living a life solely for the cause of Christ, then nothing would be the way it is today... there's wayyyy too many "Christians" who take the title, but don't do anything to bring God glory.

I don't understand this. Very difficult question to answer unless I make an opinion on all Christians based on just the ones I know personally.

True Christian's follow the Lord and His commandments out of love for Him not out of obligation. Do they fall? Of course but thank God He's there to pick you back up and restore you. The Bible says you will know them by their fruit. If you want too know if they practice what they preach look for the fruit 😇

Nobody's perfect, so i dont guarantee that there is one that follows every word that Jesus has taught. Although I am a believer myself, i still make mistakes, and make choices that doesnt go accordingly to his teachings.

I think Christians are automatically judged on an unfairly high standard sometimes by nonchristians. Sometimes being the key word. It's much more complex than a yes or no answer to me. What they believe? Well, but does what they personally believe even 100% line up with the religion they practice? Maybe not. I go to a baptist church because it is the most in line with what I believe but they do teach some things that I don't feel are biblical so much as traditional. Idk I think that's a hard question to answer.

I'm Christian and I believe in God. I am a spiritual believer not religious. HOWEVER, it's hard for me to take other christians seriously especially when they aren't inclusive of how non-christians live. Some of the most judgmental people are religious. To preach that god is all loving and forgiving then how can someone be damned to hell for being gay, having premarital sex, babies out of wedlock? Doesn't god accept you as you are, for who you are? If Jesus could remember the thief on the cross and accept him into his kingdom then how can man say who is and is not worthy of god's love?

It depends on who the person is. Every Christian is different just like any other religion. All religions have morals, values, practices... but there are so many different levels of belief, understanding, and practice. I know some very strict Jews who take their religion serious. I also know some who don't. Every religion has different followers.

Personally, as being a former Christian and having seen the inner workings and as being an outsider; no, a majority of them(especially sourthen baptist) do not follow their beliefs. That being said, I don't have a problem with Christians in general. Some of the nicest people I've come across have been of the faith, but also some have been the nastiest people I could imagine. There's the telavanglist who literally have people send them money for prayers go be answered. There's massive churches who will take money from someone about to loose their home and not think twice. There's a baptist church near me that REQUIRES a w2 form for congregation application. And the people themselves are cruel and so judgmental. They put themselves on a shiny gold pedastool and look down on anyone not of the same faith. They can be rude, judgement, very hypocritical and have some very loose morals.  They don't want anyone to speak against their faith but will jump at the chance to do it to someone who isn't Christian. And don't even get me started on Westboro Baptist Church...,🙄

As I said, this isn't ALL Christians, just the ones I've come in contact with and witnessed.

I think Christians follow what they believe, but what they believe is cherry picked from the Bible. So sure they follow what they believe but many don't follow what they or especially the Bible, preaches.
