paragard iud and spotting

I just want to make sure, is it normal to have spotting with the paragard iud? I've had it every month so far. But this time it was a bit heavier. My period was also late (probably from stress and having sex with my husband before my period was due lol that always delays it.) then it was done and gone after being heavy and now I have some spotting. I felt some pain but that could've been from my husband being rough with me in bed, and he probably found another cyst in there. Which is normal because I get cysts. Has anyone else had this issue? Just wondering. Thank you all for being wonderful.
