insensitive remarks
Anyone else sick & tired of the 'insensitive remarks' some people say when you're TTC & have been for years?!
I'm so tired of the "why are you not pregnant yet"?
"Where are the babies?!"
"Are you ever going to get pregnant?!"
The best was a few months ago my husband and I were at a FUNERAL & his aunt says to us: "what is the point of even getting married if you're not going to have kids...!?"
I literally felt my jaw hit the floor with that one!
I just sort of looked at her confused and didn't answer.
What I really wanted to say was "I'm sorry that we're not having kids fast enough for you. Not that we haven't been trying for what... four years now? But thank you for bringing it up!"
