Can't have a conversation with bf with out arguing:/

I'm so tired of trying to have a regular conversation with my boyfriend and he turns everything into a debate, like just calm down and talk like a normal person. I'm so frustrated we could never talk face to face, he doesnt know how to carry a conversation.
