So my Lil boy is 10days old and is breastfed. Just wanting to know if him feeding for 5mins on one breast every 1/2hrs is normal? I am a Lil worried as he was going 15 mins on one having a break of 10/20mins and doing 10mins on the other and now seems to be 5/10mins if I am lucky on one and then sleeping for over an hr and feeding 5mins from the other and sleeping. Was told he needs to feed a total of 20mins each time because of his jaundice but he just won't wake for more I strip him, tiggle him and blow in his face and nothing. I have health visitor round today and tbh I don't really like talking to them about problems as they are too judgemental and have midwife Friday afternoon to ask but wanted other breastfeeding mummy's help xxxx
