skipping period

Soo Valentine's Day is coming up and I'm on the pill and I realize my period might actually come way to close to that day. My bf has something really romantic that evening and I don't want to mess it up by having aunt flow. I've hear many ways to skip it by being on the pill but afraid it would effect me the following month 😭
