Is this an early sign of ovulation? (TMI)

Please no negative comments, the picture I've posted is TMI. I've been on the drug Metformin for the past three weeks and feel like my period might have ended, I'm still slightly spotting. My period has lasted eight days, which I expected since it's been so long since my last period. I wiped this morning and noticed bloody discharge/slightly stretchy and slick.  s this an early sign of ovulation? My fiancé and I aren't ready for a baby, but will be overjoyed if I do ovulate since this has been my first period in six months.
