Sippy cup?

My son is trying one in about ten days. I've been trying to transition him from a bottle to a sippy cup but he refuses to drink anything from the sippy cup even if it is formula. He'll take it from a bottle but I cannot figure out how to get him to try the sippy cup. I even tried the transition nipples that work on sippy cups as well. Any ideas?

Nuk with handles. The replace cold turkey. They may not drink as much the first time but they will learn fast. We tried it this way and it worked well. Now he's a sippy cup king. No bottles. Yaaaaaaaaaaas!

My son refused all sippy cups too, I have tried3 different ones He loves Mickey Mouse so I found Mickey Mouse sippy cup and he likes it. Maybe try a sippy cup with their fave character on it.

I don't know what kind of bottles you use but we use mam and they have a sippy cup that looks just like the bottles with handles . It comes with a sippy cup nipple and a no leak bottle nipple . This is what worked for us

We went right to the Miracle 360 cup and Dr. Brown's weighted straw cup. Took a few days but he caught on!  We wanted to skip sippy cups for speech reasons. I'm a speech therapist and sippy cups increase a child's risk for certain sound errors. By no means does this mean a child WILL have speech problems if they use a sippy cup of course. We just chose that route to decrease his chances :).

Let him play with the sippy cup. Whenever he touches it, tell him that he can drink from it. Maybe he just need to get used to his sippy cup 😊

We use a straw supply cup. She will NOT drink from a regular sippy cup, but she will use the straw ones.

My daughter has been using a sippy cup since 8 and a half mths (she will be 1 in 2 wks) and at first she wouldnt take to the sippy cups but then she saw her 2 yr old cousin using one then took right to hers. 360° cups are awesome btw
