registry items? for FULL first year.

Question

Wanting minimal amount of stuff. Small space. Also have various teethers and asking for books instead of cards. Obviously clothes too, but hand-me-downs and also I know all our friends love giving clothes.

EDIT: shoot. I want the 4 in one infantino carrier. I forgot to take off the "cuddle up" one! Only 1 carrier should be on here.

Looks pretty good. Do you need a shade for the car window? Soft bath towels? Pack and play or did you decide you didn't need one? And not sure why you have 2 baby carriers if you're going minimal (just out of curiousity; I ended up with 3, and it was never on my registry...). You may need more cloth diapers, but I've heard that it's not a good idea to buy too many until after they're born, because you never know which kind will actually work for you until you actually try. I'm guessing you're not doing any pumping since I don't see any bottles. I think people bought maybe a third of the stuff we put on our registry, but I've also been using it for a check list. Did you get overwhelmed getting it set up? I fried my brain...

Make sure that your carrier can be used with an infant or get a separate infant insert. You might want to add some swaddle blankets.  Swaddle blankets can be used as Breastfeeding cover, burp cloth, blanket and of course for swaddling. Or get some burp cloths. The Halo sleep sack is awesome because some babies hate having their arms swaddled. Also I'd recommend not getting more than one pacifier from a specific brand till you have tried them. My daughter never liked the natursutten pacifiers so it was a big waste of money for us. Otherwise baby towels and toiletries maybe, also add some Baby medicine. You definitely want some gas drops at home.
