Did your labor start seemingly out if the blue ? For those who went into labor on their own

Question

I've been having some "signs" (increased discharge, some period cramps, loose stools, BH, hip pain) for awhile now and am due in 11 days, but I just feel like labor isn't going to happen soon. Did anyone feel like it wasn't going to happen and be surprised when they were suddently in labor? Wondering if my baby will surprise me or I'll be waiting waiting

Also, I know everyone's different I'm just super excited lol

I never had cramps beside poopy cramps my whole pregnancy! Literally I would cramp go poop and they would stop .. but I woke up the day I hit 39 weeks to my water breaking (funny thing is I told everyone that I would have him that day my whole pregnancy! Which was October 14 lol ) well I had to get induced because I was in labor but wasn't feeling my contractions so the sped the process up ! My friend on the other had had Braxton hicks the whole day and she got a really bad pressure feeling and when she got the hospital she was 9 cm dilated and the doctor had to break her water ..

I was actually in slow labour but I never believed it when people was saying until I kept feeling wet down there only to realise my water had started leaking and I put it down to me weeing more went to the hospital to do the check and confined my water was really leaking I was so scared but so happy! And she was born 15 hours later in total :)

Yup went into work that day and starting have consistent contractions but not painful ones. Thought I was just dehydrated and decided to go see my midwife just to check (and get out of work for they day 😂😉) told my husband to not even bother coming to the hospital cause I would be home later. Got to the hospital and was at a 4 with real contractions!! Lol. Had my daughter 12 hours later!
