Has anyone here gotten their tubes tied, ( tubal ligation) and regret it?

Thinking about getting it done after I conceive and have my rainbow baby, I am done for sure. But I know some women who regret it just because it's so final.

This isn't me personally but my mother did. She had her tubes tied after having me. Now she regrets it because she is remarried and wants to have kids with my step dad.

My mom had hers done after she had me. She says she wishes she would have had one more baby, but she doesn't necessarily regret it.

I know this lady who married young decided to stop at two kids. She had her second and had her tubes tied when she had her c-section. The baby had a reaction to a shot and died not long after birth. A few years later her husband left her. And now many years later she is with an amazing guy but sadly they can't have children of their own.
 I don't think it's a good ideal to have it done because in most cases it is a very final decision.

You can have a tubal ligation reversal.  My sister had it done and there pregnant with another one.

My SIL had it done after having five kids, and she ended up not having her period at all for nearly three months. Then, she started bleeding, and cramping heavily. Her periods are irregular now. She thinks that they may have messed up somewhere. On The flip side, my cousin had it done years ago, and never has had any issues. So did a friend of mine. She also had it done and she said she had no issues. No regrets either for her! I haven't had it done. Not sure I will. Unless I do have another baby. If there's ever a baby number 5, I'll have all my children, plenty to love and care for, it'll all be good! I may occasionally mourn the fact that I won't ever have anymore, but I'll be alright!

My gf had hers done after having 3 kids..She was absolutley fine after and did not regret it.Im having my tube tied..i only got one left after ectopic pregnancy....i will have 3 after i have this baby and im almost 40..so i feel im done.

I didn't mean to press yeah sorry , I never experienced it but my mom always tells us how much she regretted it and she always try to talk people out of it cause it was times in her when she wanted another baby but couldn't have any more.
