at what age would you allow your child to have their own YouTube channel?

I'm all for empowering your child and letting them do their own thing from a young age but I keep coming across kids as young as 6 with their own YouTube channels.

As long as the parents are aware of it and it's safe and posting appropriate content, age shouldn't matter. I think that it's adorable when little girls post their "make up tutorials" or dance videos with their parents. When I was 16, I had one, but deleted it because I just didn't want one. It was sort of a spur of the moment thing with a friend.

My niece is 6 with a YouTube channel and her parents are the one hosting it she talks about her favorite actors and her favorite movies and all that good stuff lol I don't see anything wrong with it tbh .

Well clearly their parents are in control of it at age 6 . But personally I think more like 16 is a good age .
