How do you plan to feed your child?

Breastfeed mostly but pump when I need/want to. Honestly I'm not sure how likely it is to solely breastbreat for up to a year.

Plan to breastfeed for the first couple weeks and then start pumping and storing a stash/getting baby used to the bottle every once in a while for when I go back to work. After that it'll be a mix of breast and bottle but I hope to be successful using exclusively breast milk 🤞🏼

I planned to give breastfeeding a go with no stress if it didn't work out but some people can make you feel bad if you quit because you didn't "try hard enough" (even if no one says anything it's perceived and that creates even more guilt sometimes) I had to stop after a week of breastfeeding and my son is a happy, healthy 7 month old on formula so I'm learning not to feel bad for doing what  I had to for us 😊

In a perfect world I would plan to solely breastfeed. Being in Canada I can take a year off work to spend with the baby. Maybe entertain the idea of becoming a stay at home mom for a few years, allowing me to continue breastfeeding for as long as the baby was interested in the boob. But who know? Life throws curveballs so I will do what I can and wing the rest.

I want to breastfeed solely for the first year, then pump for the second year. I may just solely breastfeed for the first 2 years entirely.

I plAnned to breastfeed my first, but he was born early and spent time in the nicu. He wouldnt latch and didnt grasp the suck swallow breathe technique until 6 weeks so he had a feeding tube. I pumped for 4 weeks before i dried up and he was given formula.

With my next, i plan to breastfeed. Im so excited and im not even pregnant yet! 😂
